HOUSEKEEPING:
- Mostly good job responding to CR and commenting on your peers' posts! I especially liked the comments that actively engaged the author in a conversation (i.e. the comments that did not not only express agreement/disagreement with a particular point but also developed that point or asked genuine questions or offered solutions, etc)
- If you still do not have the right edition of WA, consider teaming up with a classmate.
DISCUSSION of blogging:
- Was it easy to write reading responses? What kind of readings and prompts did you find easier to respond to? Why?
- How did you find the commenting experience? How did you decide which posts to respond to?
- Did the design of the blog matter in your decision (did it distract or make it difficult to read the posts)? Have you considered if your blog is easy to read?
- If you received comments, have your responded or are you planning to respond to them? Why?
Carolina Reader (ICWA):
- What is your family's relationship with technology? Are you and your parents equally involved in use of technology or do you see a generation gap? What about you and your siblings?
- Define multitasking.
- Look through pages 17-18. Let's discuss whether Ophir's study really tests multitasking skills!
