1. REVISIONS:

• (How) did you change the draft of essay 3 between last Thursday and today? Did the analysis of sample student essay help you refine your paper? Did the peer comments help?
• What do you find is the strongest element of your paper? Why?
• What, if anything, are you concerned about? Why?

2. PLANNING ESSAY 4:

• Look back at your draft and list the 4 perspectives, copying the topic sentences from the draft. 
• Now that you can start planning your essay 4, are you going to write a policy or proposal paper? What are you planning to propose?
• Are you content with the research you have done (will you have enough useful sources for essay 4) or are you planning to do more research? Why?
